Matching Care-Nurses.

The PrivatNurse team in the Netherlands will first visit the elderly client (and family) at their homes to discuss the care need ,agree on the costs and also check the accommodation for the care-nurse in the house.This information is then shared with the PrivatNurse coordinator in South Africa who will brief the South African care-nurse Academy affiliate to look for a match.

Work permit and visa

Once the match has been found the care-nurse will be screened and interviewed by the coordinators followed by a zoom introduction meeting with the elderly client and family. Once approved the passport details are shared with the Legal Immigration team in Pretoria who will take care of the working permit and visa .

Netherlands team arranges care-nurse travel and provides support during 12-month stay.

The PrivatNurse team in the Netherlands will arrange the flight to Amsterdam and will pick up the care-nurse at the airport and bring her to the elderly client where she is given a mobile phone with a direct number of the PrivatNurse team and office which she can use during her stay of 12 months for any questions.

Working hours and times

By dutch law the care-nurses will have a 8-10 hour workday and a five-day work-week.In principal this means that the family is responsible for the care outside of these hours and in the weekends.When calamities occur at those moments the care-nurse will of course communicate this with the family or with the dutch medical professionals .The minimum period of deployment for the care-nurses will be twelve months with a possibility to extend.
